DIY Natural Cleaning Products with Recipies

pexels-photo-257279Hey, everyone! I’ve been making my own cleaning products for a couple of years now and I freaking love it. Part of why I started looking into more natural cleaning was because I’m allergic or very sensitive to most cleaning products. I also have eczema/psoriasis to that makes everything even more fun.

I really started looking into the whole thing when I was working at an ice cream and burger place at my university. It makes sense that a large commercial food establishment would use industrial cleaners, especially since it has to fight against the high amount of grease and other types of sticky stuff.

However, my hands, my face, my entire body, even if I didn’t directly use them while cleaning (sometimes I was counting out my cash drawer or doing dishes, or whatever) were a wreck, and I would leave feeling itchy.

Some people don’t believe in “natural” or “holistic” cleaning, and that’s fine. When I move into a new apartment, I always bleach the crap out of everything because who knows if it was ever cleaned and who lived there. But after the initial crazy chemical bath, my home made concoctions do just fine.

I found and tried several recipes, and I’ve compiled the easiest and most effective ones for all of you! Honestly, I don’t remember where they came from (YouTube, Pinterest, the bowels of the interwebs, etc.) but I didn’t come up with any of these. Feel free to experiment and let me know how it goes!

Mix together in a spray bottle. Shake before spraying.
