It’s my favorite time of year! Namaste November! If you’re new here and are wondering what the heck that is, it’s when I post a yoga pose, yoga or meditation tip, or general feel-good things on my Instagram every day for the entire month of November. I also write dedicated yoga/meditation posts for this blog. Last year I did a meditation series on my blog which can be found here, here, and here.
This year, I’m not gonna lie, kinda crept up on me. I think this has been one of the most hectic years of my life. I don’t feel like I can catch up!! I’ve got my two blogs, I’ve started a YouTube channel, I’m working full time, I’m also teaching yoga classes, and I’m trying to finish one of my books.
So, because of this, I’m going to do a blog Namaste November series on the art of breathing. I’ll be giving advice on different kinds of yogic breathing, posting meditations, and in general helping you (and myself) slow . . . the heck . . . down.
If we move too fast, we’ll miss the small details of our lives.
Since you’re here reading my blog, I hope you will take a moment, and do a meditation. 20 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes? Whatever you have the time for, take advantage of it.
If you’re saying “I don’t have time!” Um. . . you’re reading a blog by some rando. You’ve got time.
Make some time, ground yourself, and sit in stillness.
Here are some meditations from my channel (shameless plug), but feel free to go and watch something else. Maybe even turn off your computer and just sit in the silence for a while. Whatever works for you.
I’m really excited about this upcoming Namaste November. I’ve got some fun things planned, some pretty pictures (thank you, James for being an Instagram husband), and hopefully, we’ll have some fun together.
Thanks for visiting today.
